One of the most important events that take place at AADA's Annual Convention is the House of Delegates. This year it will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Hilton Palacio del Rio Hotel in San Antonio. Affiliated states, as well as Members-at-Large (MAL's) have representation in the House. This is the time where members come together to hear reports about the state of the association, vote on Resolutions and the slate of candidates, and vote on the budget. It's a great way to see your association in action! All delegate and alternate names are due to AADA's Central Office by July 31, 2008. All Aboard for Brunch at the Sunset Station Depot Don't miss the joint ADA/AADA luncheon in San Antonio! Held on Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm (right before the AADA House of Delegates), this year's event takes place in the Depot at Historic Sunset Station. Just a few blocks from the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, the Depot will be the backdrop for an excellent brunch and entertainment that includes a mariachi band and an informative talk on the history and renovation of the facility.
