The Power of ONE — One (1) Hour a Week:  To strengthen and grow the Alliance membership, each Alliance member is encouraged to devote one (1) hour a week on behalf of the Alliance. It really is not much time, but it will make all the difference! Learn about some of the things you can do. Prizes await!

MEMBERSHIP SPECIFICS

National membership dues are based on the calendar year. When your national dues are received, if you are a new member, you will be sent a welcome packet with information on local contacts, your district trustee, and accessing resources. Renewing members are similarly acknowledged. Becoming a member is as easy as pressing the Join/Renew button at any time.

There are three categories of membership.

You are an Active Member if you are the spouse of any active, life or retired ADA member of the spouse of a decreased ADA member. Your AADA dues are only $50 annually. You might be called a tri-partite member if there is an active local and state alliance where you reside. Then, there will be additional nominal dues for each of those. Without either a local or state alliance, you are considered a member-at-large (MAL). There is no difference in services and benefits provided.

You are a Student Spouse Member if you are the spouse of a dental student who is a member of the American Student Dental Association. Your dues are only $5 annually and your membership year is from September 1 through August 31.

You are a Contributing Member if you are a staunch supporter of the Alliance and demonstrate your affiliation by paying dues of $50. Potential members, for example, are spouses of alliance members (i.e. the dentist), adult children who work in the dental practice, staff members, and professional colleagues in dentistry. Currently contributing membership only exists at the national level.
