Student Spouse Support Fund Available
Through the generosity of the ADA Insurance Plans, the Alliance is pleased to announce the development of the Student Spouse Support Fund. The major purpose of this fund is to provide financial assistance to student spouse members interested in developing their roles as Dental Health Education and Legislative advocates for the dental profession.
Many times the desire is there to organize an event, but not the funds. It is hoped that by removing the financial burden, the desire will shine through. The Alliance greatly appreciates the financial and moral support that ADA Insurance Plans has given us. We hope you will take full advantage of the Student Spouse Support Fund.
Student Spouse Member groups may use the application form to apply for funds. Some possible activities include, but not limited to:
- Purchasing supplies for a DHE program at a local school
- Food or other supplies for a legislative meet and greet.
- Organize a social get-together to introduce more student spouses to the Alliance
- Off-setting expenses for an access program done in conjunction with the dental school. For example: could assist with the Give Kids A Smile Day, February 4, 2005, and provide a lunch for the workers.
