SmileCon and AADA Meetings will be held on October 13-18 at the George R. Brown Convention Center, Hilton Americas and Marriott Marquis.

FREE SmileCon Dental Central Pass Registration available to Alliance Members and Dental Family for those who register to volunteer in a Hospitality Position for SmileCon. Join the Smile Squad and help the ADA provide an amazing show experience! Hospitality volunteers are located throughout the convention center to welcome attendees and answer questions! Responsibilities: Volunteers must be able to welcome attendees, help answer questions in English (even better if you're bilingual in Spanish!), be familiar with the Convention Center and surrounding area and be comfortable standing in one location for a few hours. Available shift days are: Thursday, October 13th, Friday, October 14th and Saturday, October 15th. Benefits: A confirmed Hospitality position will be eligible for a Dental Central Pass, which credit may be applied toward upgrading to a Smile Pass or Platinum Smile Pass. You will receive a complimentary meal voucher and parking for the day of your assignment.

4. Select your preferred events and hospitality shifts!

Note: Each hospitality shift is $1.00 to secure shift and FREE Pass. Please arrive 20 minutes before your first assignment. If you fail to show up for your assigned shift, you will be charged full price for your selected registration. Volunteer positions may vary between greeter and directional based on your location. Featured Speaker: The Honorable Jacquie Baly will be presenting: Legislative Update and Political Overview with Emphasis on Dental and Health Priorities

Jacquie Baly, President of BalyProjects, has been a leader in the Texas business and policy communities for decades. She began her career as a city, and regional planner, then served as Vice President of the Greater Houston Partnership before her public service as Governor Rick Perry's appointee on water and wastewater issues, then-Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Sugar Land. Twenty-three years ago, Jacquie founded BalyProjects to provide clients with government affairs and media relations services. She is currently an adviser to Governor Greg Abbott on Higher Education initiatives.
